The best super hero is "Fat Belly Beer Man"!! He's able fart on command and blow almost any obstacle to the ground. No creature that breathes can withstand the stench! He also has a super powered belly pound. This power allows him to run or slam objects onto his belly and they will bounce away at super speeds. His power increase if he eats mexican food or anything with milk since he's lactos intolerate and that increases his fart ability.

His known weakness is diet and excericise and loctos pills.

Grant Morrison has done some serious damage at DC.  A Flash movie would be something but bringing back Barry Allen is a serious mistake. He had one of the best comic book deaths EVER! No reason at all to mess with that. I was all for bringing back Hal Jordan but what have they really done with him since he's been back that they couldn't have without him. Barry is gonna go the same way. They'll make a big thing out of bringing him back and then what? Geoff's a good writer but I don't knowww.

I've been out of comics for ages, but lately have been reading the Ultimate Collection books of Invincible by Robert Kirkman. Really fresh and entertaining take on the genre.

Well, you might like Smallville on the CW.  He's a recurring character the last few seasons, guiding a young Clark Kent to fullfill his destiny as Earth's mightiest hero.

I believe I read that Morpheus' sibling Death will be making a trip to Hollywood in the not too distant future.  Hopefully this will eventually lead to a Sandman movie.  Of course Gaiman doesn't want his work screwed up so it would be a huge task to bring Dream to the big screen.  Let's hope someone is up to the task.  (I've always thought Frank Darabont would be a good call for director; he turned a good story into a Great movie!)

IMHO, Mark Millar's "KICK-ASS" should be given some consideration. Great story and art work which is set in the real world.

Yukito Kishiro's Battle Angel Alita manga is not only a great book and I heard there will be a movie made of this one.

Please folks , there will be no cross-comic battles, e.g. aqua-man(DC) vs. Submariner(Marvel). Look for the continuation of darker more troubled heroes to continue. Also younger to appeal to tweens and teens. I personally am still waiting for a good Hulk movie. 2 total disasters that completely miss the mark make me think Lou Ferrigno deserved an Emmy.

My vote will always go with Spider Jerusalem, the superheroes of 'Nextwave,' or Conan, (the more recent Dark Horse incarnation) but I know I'll be longer than 2009 to get my wish.

I say Alexander Skaarsgard would be perfect for Thor.  He played a Vampire on HBO's Trueblood who was aptly named Eric Northman.  Check him out - he's perfect for the part imo.

How about Goku from Dragon Ball and Sailor Moon? "Dragon Ball" and "Sailor Moon" were both the most influential manga(comic)/anime (cartoon) titles ever released in Japan and soon to the world. I heard FOX is planning to make this movie. This could be a mixed blessing

I'm probably in the minority these days because they are often viewed as an amusing legacy of the disco era or something along those lines.

But ever since CGI grew to maturity, I've been waiting for a Legion of Superheroes movie. The LSH was my favourite comic in my teen years, and combined science fiction with superhero action in a way that created immense excitement, IMHO.

What about Watchmen? Not technically a character, but the movie should be big. Fans of the novel, like myself, have been practically gnawing their fingernails off since the movie release date is only couple months away.
